A Tale of Two Babies and A Library

Today has been:

hectic.
funny.
exhausting.
great.

kind of like...everyday around here.

Son is teething and he is being D-I-F-F-I-C-U-L-T. I can't seem to help him no matter what I do. I am not resorting to Tylenol or any other meds because I just don't want to subject him to that right now.

I am doing my best to help him and to also keep my sanity. Not easy.

We went to a playground for the first time in our new city. It was nice, clean, in the shade, and it has a carousel!!!!

We then went to the library to get a book for Sister to read before school starts. This initially seemed like a simple task.

HA!

Managing one teething baby and one get-into-everything baby was hilariously challenging in a place where being quiet is kinda important.

Son was groaning and grunting the whole time, so I was TRYING to keep him entertained. At the same time I was also chasing The Princess down EVERY aisle. Apparently she finds joy in this activity because she was laughing hysterically the whole time.

I didn't laugh at the time, but now I realize how stressed I must have looked. Hahaha.

We also took Gizmo to his new groomer, Dogtown USA . It is like a 5-star hotel in that place...an excercise room, an indoor pool, a boutique and bakery... I wish I got a haircut in a salon half as nice. Sorry Supercuts. I still love you.

Gizmo is hoping to meet some ladies while he's at the resort today. I hope they didn't smell him before he got a bath...

These were the activities we did in class this afternoon:

Matching kitchen utensils:

Sorting little animals by color:

We then lined up the animals. Cats with cats. Dogs with dogs. Etc. The Princess also enjoys wearing a basket on her head:

Finally, here are the sisters at the park:
