Out and About

So the other day I decided we needed to get out of the house for the entire day. I can only stay home so much before I start feeling agitated.

We had a picnic at the park with some delicious food from Manatee Cafe:

Then we went to My Gym where Son practiced that things guys do when they are working out.... Staring into the mirror and admiring themself:

The Wiz was practicing his strength training too:

Princess was into climbing the rope:

After that we went walking for a while and then on a long bike ride. I love getting out for a whole day because the next day it becomes a lot more fun when we just stay home. Here are my babies using their imaginations "ice skating":

Lastly, I got this cookbook and I just love it:

Zzzzzzzz

No one would take a nap in the house so we came outside to take a drive, but never got out of the driveway. Once I buckled Son I realized everyone else was already asleep so now all three babies are sleeping in the car which is parked in my driveway.....I am dozing off while looking for recipes....so peaceful:

Egg Hunting and More

We went to the egg hunt at Palencia on Thursday. A simple thing to do....or so it would seem.

We got half way out of the parking lot when The Wiz decided to have an explosive---outfit ruining poop! We went back to the car and I was literally holding two kids while changing the messiest diaper of all time.

We survived that, got to the park and played for a while until the bunny came out. Princess HAD to wear her Hello Kitty nightgown to see the Easter Bunny because apparently he likes Hello Kitty.

While we were waiting for our turn, Son took of running, slid down that bank behind the bunny and into a mound of fire ants. They were I'm his shoes, his diaper, under his shirt....EVERYWHERE!!!!

Before the egg hunt my angel scaled fences:

Son didn't bother getting eggs. He just wanted to run:

Princess showing off her haul. We were supposed to get 6 eggs...that was the limit. Note her very FULL basket:

The eggs had taffy and little toys in them, Including tiny erasers, which my children proceeded to chew and spit out in the back of my car on the way home:

They staged a show on top of the garbage can later that day:

And looked for more eggs in the woods:

Then we had a car wash:

On Friday we did a little painting and The Wiz giggled while getting his toes covered:

Here are my boys napping after playing in the sun:

On Saturday we went to an Easter festival:

Happy Easter:

Pics of the Day

Not many people can pull off this dog walking outfit:

We made an impromptu stop at the beach. I just so happened to have a bathing suit for Princess in my trunk (along with a million other things that shouldn't be there):

This little guy was a pistol today so we had to leave early. Every chance he got, he ran...and climbed...and ran...and climbed. It was like he waited for me to get complacent and as soon as I did....BAM!!!! He was running again!

It was extremely hard to manage him at a crowded beach park so....maybe next time:

I See the Light

I decided to get a year long membership at the Hands on Museum in Jacksonville. My plan is to take these guys here before we go to Costco each week to wear them out. Even if we don't go each week, 3 more visits this year and we will have paid the same as the membership anyway and I am certain we will go three more times.

My Princess was an absolute angel today. I have never seen her so well behaved (when Boss isn't around) and I am so incredibly greatful. She was so good that I just can't even grasp it yet.

We had a truly wonderful day and I am looking forward to many more like this. I think she has been struggling because I have to give my attention to the baby, but today was different and I think we are moving in a better direction.

I really love this light table and considered buying one for the house, but they are so expensive.

Princess wanted to play dress up. She stood on the stage and announced her show. It goes like this " ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the princess show...."

Then they play in "Winn Dixie". This is my favorite part of the museum:

I laughed at the items she chose to purchase. Juice, gummies, cookies, more gummies, milk, and cereal:

Here is a selfie from Sis:
