Orlando Science Center

Who needs Disney? The science center is awesome and lots to do for the little kid  crowd:

Why Homeschool Rocks

Here's why I love homeschool: ...because when we are done our work, we can do this:

And it was fun until a neighbor ran over to tell us there were rattlesnakes up there:

So we went to the beach.

And then went to one of our favorite restaurants:

Then we hit the splash park.

We were the only people there. It was great because it was a lot easier to keep track of everyone:

Happy 5th Birthday Princess

Princess turned 5 today. We celebrated with a small party two weeks ago by going to the local water park.

As for gifts, she got a new doll, a doll crib, books, a tea set, and some dresses:

Nickname: Bear or Bear Cat. Brother calls her one knows why.

Height: 4 feet tall

Favorite Color: Purple and pink and gold and rainbow sparkles.

Favorite Movie: Little Mermaid

Favorite Food: Mushroom. (Note: she's NEVER eaten a mushroom. I'd say it's strawberry smoothies, strawberries, grapes and chocolate.

Favorite Place to go: The park

Favorite Store: Target and the Toy store

Favorite School Subject: Science and math

Wants to be: "Mommys good helper"

Favorite toy: Tea set

Notes: Princess desperately wants to fly. Like actually be a bird. She would really love to have a cat and a rat. She loves the mall and good fashion.
News: On her 5th birthday (today) she got her FIRST haircut:

We did a magnet investigation around the house:

We also did a sink or float activity:

We study north south east and west by traveling to different states:

We have been doing some morning painting instead of TV:

I love these bins I got at the Target Dollar section for sensory bins:

These guys have been "cooking" ALOT:

I made this activity for Son to reinforce his letters:

Spaceships and Ducks

Last Wednesday we went to the park...ran into a duck...fed the duck...and he stalked us from that moment forward:

Then we headed over to a music and movement class:

The Wiz only wanted to take the instructors suitcases:

And find the TV remote:

Afterwards, the kids made a restaurant called "sweet restaurant" and it is Jesus's favorite restaurant according to Princess. Now that's a good review!!!

I've been trying out the Reggio approach and we love it:

Son loves putting stickers on paper to form letters:

I had some empty boxes and the kids really took an interest in them and wanted to make spaceships. I found everything space shippy that owned and they loved making the ships:

Wiz has found a new activity. Turning the fish tank light on and off:
