Children's Museum

I've kind of figured out that my baby is in no hurry to be born. I now have 5 days until my due date and I'm becoming nervous. I don't know why, but I am really anxious these days.

Today we headed to the Jacksonville Childrens Museum to play. They loved it and it was so inexpensive. It was nice that I could sit down and rest at times there too because when we go to the park I am chasing at least one of them the entire time.

Of course Son was crazy for the train depot area:

He also enjoyed the fire truck:

Princess had fun with the doll house:

And the basketball area:

They had wheelchairs to play wheelchair basketball:

First dunk:

Princess had fun in the post office:

Son did some cooking:

They spent most of their time in the grocery store area and the ball pit, but I didn't take photos. We stayed about 3 hours and they could have kept on playing if it wasn't lunch time.

I've been trying to keep these kids out of the house, so we went to Barnes n Noble a few days ago. There were a few moments of peaceful reading and many moments of complete chaos. Don't let the photos fool you. I'm surprised we weren't kicked out:

We headed off to a local garden center where there are chickens and trails to run around:

What was happening here was Princess put on this outfit and was stomping through the house bossing everyone around. We just obeyed and got outta her way. She's terrifying in this outfit:

Maybe the NEXT post will be about our new baby.

Two More Weeks

Two weeks to go!

I feel like such a terrible mother because I can't do much with my babies. It is really getting to me. I feel like these days are going by so slowly and I am not doing enough for them. I'm glad we have our playground set in the yard. We have been spending a lot of time out there, but seriously.... It's time to have this baby!!!

Here is Princess dancing in the yard in one of her new gowns:

And she had her very first dental appointment today. Perfect teeth!

They never fail to find something new to climb. This is my peach tree that is basically falling over.

We have been spending lots of time in the sandbox. Princess guards her castles with all her might.

Son doesn't really build anything. He does a lot of destroying, though:

Sorry I have not been posting. I feel bad about that too. Hopefully my next post will be a picture of our new baby!!!!

Christmas Day

It's been over a week since Christmas and I'm just acquiring the energy to post photos.

Less than 3 weeks until I have my baby and doing ANYTHING right now is a huge chore. I am still chasing my two little angels around all day and that is literally all I have the strength to do.

Besides having a healthy baby, here are my New Years resolutions:

1.Maintain a vegan diet the entire year.

2. Lose all the pounds I've gained with this baby, which is ALOT!!!!!!! Only God and my midwife know the true number, but I'm sure it's in the 80 pound range by now. Don't judge me....I'm just a hungry girl.

3. Read my Bible every day, which I have already failed at because I forgot it was a resolution....but I'm going to continue keeping it.

4. Go to the grocery store a lot less. I'm trying for Publix once per week, the Farmers Market once per week, and Costco twice per month. I'm starting to realize that taking a 3 year old, a 1 year old and a newborn to the store everyday is going to be a bit much.....

Anyway....

Here are our Christmas photos:

My babies were dressed as elves. I thought they were precious.

Every year Boss wears his Christmas robe to open gifts. It always makes me laugh:

Sis was all about "fangirl merch" this year:

Princess got a ton of dress up stuff:

Sis also got several CDs, movies, and books:

We unwrapped gifts one at a time and it seemed to work out well:

Princess with her new vanity:

Son got a train table:

Princess scored 5 new gowns and a set of tiaras:

This boa continues to decompose all over the house, but she loves it:

After gifts, Son went outside to play. I think it's funny that in Florida Christmas doesn't involve being stuck inside all day talking about the snow. It was actually kind of hot outside.

We did not send a Christmas card out this year, so if you didn't receive one from us, we didn't forget you. I just lost all my steam around Thanksgiving and it never came back. Soooooooo.....

Happy New Year everyone!!!!!! God Bless!!!!
