Feather Clothes Pins

I am completely dependent on my phone to post on this blog. I recently got a new phone and I'm still trying to figure out how it works, but this is my first try posting with it.

Today we did a practical life/fine motor activity. I just hot glued feathers to some clothes pins and then tied up a rope to Princess's table. The feathers were just to keep in line with the bird theme.

Her task was just to pinch the clothes pins open and put them on the line.

She really struggled with this, but she kept at it. She must have worked on this for an hour and wanted to do it again. 

She definitely needs practice, so we will try again tomorrow. Her persistence was precious and I was proud of her for continuing even when she was having a hard time.

P.s. There is bird seed all over my classroom from our scooping activity.
