This year we decided to put our tree in our classroom since it is completely gated. I wasn't exactly thrilled about this idea because:
1. I lose my classroom
2. We can't see the tree from the living room.
But after decorating our tree tonight, I have seen the light!!!!!!
It was kind of chaotic:
Princess was taking things off the tree faster than we were putting them on. There was breakage. People were crying.
But, the good news is that we finished, our tree looks lovely, and we are all still alive. Thank God our tree is behind gates!
Each year the kids get to pick a special ornament that reflects their interests for the tree. This year Sister picked Justin Bieber, Princess picked Minnie Mouse, and Son picked an airplane.
When the kids grow up and move out I plan on giving them a nice box full of all their special ornaments.
